I've recently discovered Rugby and think it's pretty cool. Are there any good ps3/xbox 360 rugby games? I've found 2 so far: Rugby World Cup 2011 and Lomu Challenge. Is one way better than the other? Ideally, I'd like to create my own team and/or play as GM (sort of like in Madden). Is this possible in either one? Lomu has a pretty indepth character creation as well as an all right team creation. World cup doesn't have this at all. Lomu has more squads, and more game modes. Better camera angles and cut scenes. Ive payed them both and prefere Lomu to World Cup.

As the other mentioned, there's only two. However, you could get Rugby 06 (yes, its old) by EA Sports and it will play on the 360. It is an xbox game, but it works for 360. It's a really fun, addicting game and you could buy it for 5 dollars. If youre picking between Challenge and World Cup, go Challenge. Way better.

Lomu Challenge is the best rugby game out there. World cup 2011 does not even have the real squads. Lomu Challenge Has perfect Graphics and all the tournaments and all squads. Rugby League Live is a pretty good game. P.S Rugby League Live 2 comes out in Semptember

Challenge all the way. Better graphics, better gameplay, more licenses, and yes it has a really good player creation mode and a decent team creation mode. If you don't want Challenge then all you're left with is RWC 2011 which is by far an inferior game.
