Nope, I play at 8 as well but I dont wear a scrum cap. It's far better without one, but suppose you must then go for a good adidas one they are only about ￡15 and very good quality I had to wear one for a week when I wa coming back from concussion and it's very well made. William

Not to my knowledge, but, hey,anything is possible in the modern game. Seriously: 8 Men are supposed to be hard cases. I'm trying to think of 8-men I knew who even bothered to tape their ears - can't come up with any: 2nd Row, yes, sure. And all the hookers and tightheads I know who didn't tape up have cauliflower ears. But No 8? Don't get too fancy, eh? And scrum caps designed for specific positions sounds way fancy to me. Mark L.
