I want to play Rugby but have No Experience?

I am 18 going on 19, going to be a sophomore in college. I tried my freshman year, when I was 5'5 135lb, but decided to go to the gym and try again my sophomore year. In the gym for that year I weightlifted and biked. I am now 5'7, 160lb, and I want to try rugby again. What can I do from July-September to get ready for rugby? What position would I play? What skills would I need to practice the most? I have NOT played a sport since 8th grade, is it realistic to play? I want to play and can motivate myself to so, as long as it is physically possible for me to play and not suck. Any help?I am 18 going on 19, going to be a sophomore in college. Half back you need to develop passing skills on both sides. Watch some YouTube clips of half backs. George gregan was the same size as you and one of the greatest

Rugby takes a lot of cardio. So as long as you work out you will do just fine. Anything you don't know about the game such a positions and plays will be taught too you later. As for you position if you are strong you maybe a lock or prop, but if your fast you maybe in the back pack.
