Why is rugby league not included in the sports pages?

your sports news is full of rugby union which nobody is interested in , in the North . Rugby League is the second most popular spectator sport in the Uk . Why no rugby league news

Rugby League the second most popular sport in the UK? Where does that come from? It falls behind Association Football, Rugby Union, and cricket, at the very least. Probably some others as well. The fact of the matter is that the League market is miniscule, particularly when compared to the Union game. League is an entirely regional sport, pretty much unknown outside of northern England and eastern Australia. It's lucky to get as much coverage as it does. You see that when you compare the respective salary caps -- the only reason a player stays with a League side anymore is that he isn't good enough to make a Union club's roster. That or -- like Sonny Bill Williams -- he prefers to be the big fish in a small pond.

I thing most of the worlds population has not yet woken up to watch just how exciting Rugby League is , yep the most intense and fastest foottball on the planet , and as a spectator sport none can match it. Do yourself a favour and watch some NRL and smell the roses !!!

there is a league page, its under Australian football. Go check it out. League is only really big as a spectator sport in parts of England and Australia the rest of the world don't really care about it or even now of it. While rugby union is huge in lots of nations, there is not a lot of League questions asked so it would be pointless to give them a page under sports

You high or something second most popular sport in the UK?!?!! League is only popular in Australia and North England that is it. Union is everywhere son.
