Don't be getting boots because they look cool or to brag about them! Forwards ( in scrum normally ) wear 8 studded boots for more gripping power and backs wear 6 or 7 studs.

Not for a forward no as they are cotton and you will feel as if your just wearing socks to play in but they may be ok for wing or full back but really they're pretty bad for rugby

Yeah I guess if you need the ankle support my friend plays in those super high UA American football cleats but with the toe cleat cut off so yeah go ahead
