I think Taylor has cemented his place as the crusaders first choice flyhalf. His goalkicking is better than Blyndells who possibly is a better attacking flyhalf than Taylor but is a inconsistent goalkicker. I dont think Carter is going to play a major role in future Crusaders and ABs games much longer. His career is winding down and similar to McCaw is receiving injuries which have put both players out for long periods of time in recent years.
After a fly-half like Dan Carter it's hard to follow as a suitable replacement but I think he should do fine. Many people said NZ wouldn't be able to find an amazing fly half to follow King Carlos Spencer but Carter did it will. We'll see who they find. Time will tel
