It depends. Tiempos come in a lot of different models, some of which are actually intended for rugby. Rugby Laws (specifically Law 4) allow the use of moulded rubber or plastic blades, so long as they are in good condition. In fact some rugby backs -- where speed is important but scrumming and rucking less so -- actually prefer that type of soccer boot, particularly if the pitch is especially hard or dry. However, the metal blades with sharp edges that you find on some soccer boots are not allowed. You'll have to check out the blades/studs on a particular type of boot to know for sure.

Iv'e played with Football boots for 3 years now, I'm a back so I prefer them, if I was a forward id easily go for Rugby boots, in my opinion it depends on whether you're a forward or back. Also Rugby boots have more support but football boots are lighter/feel better in my opinion. I prefer football boots. I wear my Nike Mercurials and Adidas F30/F50's.

yes, you can and many people do.

hey, i play league, and i have football boots. people say don't because they have no support but ive only broken 2 toes haha. in league ive never been pulled up for it but as you play the less physical side of the sport ;).. i would double check cant see it being a problem though big studs are dangerous in weather like this when the ground is hard
