No Danny Cipriani as well as Quade Cooper, as already mentioned are FAR FAR worse! there are others that suck as well
I would say no to that.He is certainly not alone as a five eight with questionable defencive qualities. Five eight is one position that looks first at your overall qualities on attack and tactical kicking before defence is considered.Most sides make other plans for five eights who have weak defence.
That's a bit harsh, as a Hurricanes supporter I don't see him as the worst in Rugby but I do agree his defense is questionable. Barrett has missed a few first up tackles and letting the opposition get the advantage but his attacking makes up for it, always room for improvement, it's his first season with the Canes.
I was going to say have you never seen Quade Cooper tackle but then realized that neither had I lol. But to cut straight to the point no he is not maybe a little soft but he does get in amongst it rather than shy away. IMO between OGara and Cooper have cost their teams in big matches. Or one from the past Naas Botha the only player who could play on a NZ mud bowl and be able to fold his jersey up post match with barely a speck of dirt on it..... even the Ref got dirtier than Naas.
