France to win 6 Nations this year?

Limeys to win wooden spoon?

I think they have a fair shot, though a Grand Slam is a hard ask. They have Wales in Cardiff, which will be very difficult. On the other hand, Wales did NOT play well against Italy today, so ... France play Ireland at Stade de France, and will benefit from hat. At the moment (sat evening) we don't know what the current Irish team will really have to offer: new coach, aging stars ...But perhaps the magic is there. Anglophone rugby enthusiasts who hang out at this site tend to discount French rugby. I think St. Andre has them on a good track - certainly there have been many years recently in which they would have crawled into their shells and not fought to the end as they did today. As usual Scotland and Ita;ly will fight it out for last. Mark L.

"Limeys".. are you American ? Anyway, the great thing about the 6n is that anyone out of Eng/Wal/Fr/Ire can beat eachother. I don't think there'll be a GS this year.

I don't think so, they weren't really convincing against England. They'll have to respect their opponents a bit more if they want to improve their results, plus they are missing Dussautoir (who's a key player).

Ireland - England Fianl Ireland will win .

I thought that France seemed poor yesterday and I think they'll struggle again this year. England started badly but they look like a decent enough team.

I'll go for Ireland with France second and the Scots third.

Unlikely. The French won narrowly at home against an England team whose backs were the least experienced for 40 years. England will beat Italy and Scotland with no trouble and Wales and Ireland know better than to ever take England lightly. Wales and Ireland have excellent chances against France.
