There really isn't a formal recruitment process for Canadian University squads -- or anywhere in North America for that matter -- and many players wll start as walk-ons. But that said, the coaches will generally have contacts with the local clubs and wll know who the better players on the U18 or U20 club sides will be. ln any case, the first step is to get out to your local club and work on your skills there.
Simple, just sign up to play for your university Rugby team, go to trials and go from there.
