How do I answer the question 'Explain what is meant by the term 'ante meridian'? Where it is positioned in relation to the Prime Meridian? Ante meridian was spelled anitmeridian in my booklet and I'm assuming its ante meridian. My answer is The term AM comes from ante meridian which is taking place in the morning and PM, post meridian, in the afternoon. AM is at longitude 180°, opposite the Prime Meridian, 0° longitude, and goes from the noth pole to the South Pole. I think there is something wrong with my answer so can you please help me thanks so much! I'm thirteen in case you're wondering. How do I answer the question 'Explain what is meant by the term 'ante meridian'? Where it is positioned in relation to the Prime Meridian? You have it, mate. "Ante" is the Latin preposition "before", as "post" is the Latin preposition "after". Meridian is, as you have stated, noon.
