Annoyingly I have to play rugby in my school P.E lessons, and being smaller and less of a fan of rugby as everyone, does anyone have any ideas on how to not get hurt, or do I just get on with it.Annoyingly I have to play rugby in my school P.E lessons, and being smaller and less of a fan of rugby as everyone, does anyone have any ideas on how to not get hurt, or do I just get on with it.

Playing rugby doesnt really hurt. As a rugby player you just got to get into the right positions to avoid that bit of 'pain' It can hurt when you go in but you just got to grin and bear it. Also, if you are worried of injury, there is a slim chance that you will get injured. My brother broke his neck playing it and it was because he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Basically, just try and stay out of the action but look like you are getting involved. Play as a winger (person on the outside) as you will only likely have to run with the ball. You probably will get tackled but hey, what can you do. Hope this helps :)

go 100%, If you half **** any part of rugby you will get hurt. Hit and tackle as hard as you can, be the guy people are trying to avoid, and you will find you fare a lot better. trying to hide or stay out of the action will only lead to more pain. and who knows, you might like it.

It depends on the position you play in. You say that you are small, I would think that if you played in the number nine position, your chances of getting hurt would be less, than if you played in some other position. Normally scrum-half, or wingers (11 or 14 ) are less prone to getting hurt, but that is not to say they don't. Try and be careful out there, there is a lot of grabbing and pulling down to be handled out there, keep your nuts in the right place.
