From what ive heard ive missed the union season but league would be fine. I just dont know where to start and dont want to be a burden. And im in auckland new zealand

Its fine, just turn up and you'll be accepted. Everyone has to start somewhere, and if theres anywhere in life where people understand this, its in sport. Noone will judge you for making mistakes, dont be worried about that or let it prevent you joining. You'll have a lot of fun thats for certain. On a side note, many professionals today are late joiners to rugby. The only example on my tired mind right now is a recently retired Ireland international called John Hayes, he started playing rugby at 20 I believe. He ended up being the first Irishman to win 100 international caps. Its never too late. Go enjoy yourself.

There's no rugby union or league clubs to join in central Auckland but try going online and see what clubs are closest to your home. It might not be too late to join a social union or league team this season who might be short of members. You might be lucky and after all you have to start somewhere.
