I filled a rugby ball with butane?

How can i unfill it?

Well, if you don't have a valve, go buy one. It is almost free. (You must have had one in order to inflate the ball - are you sure you are fully conscious?) Good grief, take *some* responsibility here. In addition to staying away from flame, deflate the ball in a well-aerated space, preferably outdoors. This will allow the butane to mix with he air, vastly and rapidly lowering its concentration to below its ignition level. [Remember the Ideal Gas Law: PV - nRT? By releasing the gas outdoors, you are increasing the V toward infinity, so the pressure will decrease toward zero; with a very large volume, the concentration will be n/(some very large volume), or a small number.] There also will be oxidation of the butane, further reducing its concentration. See there was reason for you to pay attention in Chemistry class. Mark L

How did you fill it then? Actually I'm very curious how this entire situation came to be? Like, how does one even come up with the idea to fill a ball with anything but air?

Stick a pump valve needle in the fill valve and let it out gradually. AWAY FROM ANY OPEN FLAME......

once the butane is exposed to air is no longer under pressure , it will do the same as air ... unfill is't a word
