I'm 15 a little out of shape and would like to do something invoking my school, and be apart of a team, I was thinking of rugby, is it a good idea?

It's a great idea, you'll get in shape before too long. Don't listen to the haters, go for it.

I play rugby and there's "out of shape" team mates in my team that are good, rugby requires fitness, but rugby also helps you to get you fit, but you should be aiming for a scrum position: hooker, 1st row, second row, flanker, because you've got the strengh you just need the stamina, belive you'll need it, and they wont play you in the first 3 weeks or more and by the time they play you you'll be ready ! Good Luck! Rugby is one of the best decisions of my life.

Rugby will definitely whip you into shape if you're out of it. I would go for it. I've played for three years, and I love it. If you do decide to go for it though, I would recommend getting in some running before the season starts if you can, just to start on the right course. For me, there's been no worse feeling than letting myself become out of shape during the offseason then trying to keep up once the season starts. But you'll get into it quickly, and I wouldn't say being out of shape is a reason not to play.

If its tackle rugby, not a good idea. Specially since your not in shape. I think they have 40 min. Halves which is pretty long. I played rugby and its pretty darn hard. You will need to have a lot of commitment to play rugby. You need a lot if endurance to last 80 minutes of running, throwing, thinking, etc. I don't know if you know how the game rugby works either so.. :0 cant say anything beyond this. Hope I helped.
