In your opinion, who is/was the fastest man in Rugby?

Inspired by this video: ...I don't recall the name but there was a guy who scored an amazing try for the US against South Africa in the WC 2011, fast player.Inspired by this video:

Uhmm -- the US didn't play South Africa in the 2011 World Cup -- it was 2007 and the try you are speaking of was scored by Takudzwa Ngwenya (Zimbabwe born but Texas-raised), who is still a mainstay of the Eagles and Biarritz in the French Top-14. He showed his heels quite handily to Brian Habana in that game. Ngwenya would certainly be in the running for rugby's fastest winger. But the fastest timed 100 metres for any rugby player (at least of which I am aware) is 10.27 sec for Tonderai Chavhanga, a South African who currently plays for the Newport Gwent Dragons of the Celtic League.

Ryan Hall is fast. Thats league - not the ponce variety.

Wasn't there an American 7's player that was the fastest? Terry Wright in his hay day was quick but the days of seeing a skinny white player on the wing are long gone

Martin "Chariots" Offiah.

Carlin isles, he can fly, then there is jodie Boughton in the 9's and more in different leagues :) (I Think He Should Play for Australia)

carlin isles. yeah, i think a bit faster than bryan habana.
