Knee pain after rugby match?

Posted at: 2014-07-08
During a rugby match the scrum collapsed onto the right side of my right knee, so a lot of weight falling on my knee whilst it was bent. It was quite painful straight await, but the pain went after about a minute, I feared that I may have torn a ligament but after moving my knee around a bit, I pretty sure the ligaments are still intact. The next day my knee was very sore and for the following days swell,. No bruising or swelling though. Putting weight on my knee does not hurt, nor does running. it is only when i twist it or when i bend my knee in a standing position to bring it up to my gluts that the inner right front side hurts. My knee does not lose stability, buckle or crack. Could anyone possible help me ?During a rugby match the scrum collapsed onto the right side of my right knee, so a lot of weight falling on my knee whilst it was bent. it sounds like u might have stretched a ligament I hurt my knee during a rugby game and was told it was a torn mcl I was not sopoto play for 2 weeks so mabey take a week off to let it heal if there is no bruising or swelling u shouldn't worry about it but if it still hurts in 2 weeks or dosent get any better soon then mabey go to a doctor

Yes, get your medical advice from yahoo answers... FAIL. Go see a real doctor.
