Scrum Half Contact at the Scrum?

I've been playing scum half for years and I still don't understand the rule or lack of rules about bumping the scrum half before and after the ball is rolled in. When I say bumping I'm referring to body shoving/nudging /checking. What is he official rule on this and or how much can you get away with?I've been playing scum half for years and I still don't understand the rule or lack of rules about bumping the scrum half before and after the ball is rolled in. Technically they can't contact you at all before the put-in, nor at any point afterwards if you don't actually have contact with the ball. How much "casual" contact the Official actually allows is at his discretion. If you think there is too much going on, have your captain complain to the official.

I'm afraid the official rule exists but is implemented at each Ref's discretion and interpretation. You can download the official rugby rules from the IRB site
