Should I quit my rugby team?

Posted at: 2014-07-08
I play for my uni 4th team but I'm not sure whether to quit or not. I go to all the trainings and I am commited to to the team but when it comes to the matches I have no motivation to play. For the school rugby I would get pumped up but for the uni team I just can't. I always feel bad after a match even if we won because I always felt I didn't play well because I am not motivated. I have paid a lot of money for kit and membership and I don't want to let my team mates down but I am not sure whether to quit or not.I play for my uni 4th team but I'm not sure whether to quit or not. What position do you play? maybe if you play a position that isn't involved much (E.G. Winger) you may feel that you haven't done much in the game, i used to feel the same way sometimes, but now i try to get stuck in more and i feel a lot happier after the games, i dont recommend quitting because that might make you feel worse

Do you smoke weed? That takes away motivation. If you like rugby and enjoy it, carry on playing; it is good for fitness and strength as well. If you don't enjoy playing it, well, do quit. There's no point in it if you don't like it. I find if I enjoy something, I motivate myself to perform to the best of my ability; I am always motivated going into a rugby match or boxing fight. If you smoke weed -stop. It's pointless. It's a sure-fire way to destroy your life and disrupt your aims.
