Will i be able to play again?

Posted at: 2014-07-08
I had a complete ACL torn and partial torns of ligements in my knee. And i have no chance of having ACL replacement operation. This is happened about month a go and now i'm able to walk normally and I'm having a rugby tournament after one and half months after the date that i had the injury. Will i be able to play the tournament and if i need to tape the knee how should i do that. **Please assist me. I have no idea of how to tape my knee for the ACL and lateral co-lateral ligament injury.I had a complete ACL torn and partial torns of ligements in my knee. No you won't be able to play this tournament. Everyone else is right here. Having played at a pro level and torn my ACL as well, I can tell you that you have a long, sometimes painful road ahead of you to regain any good form...but (and I hate to tell you this) you will never be the same player again. You can still play but you'll never be near the level you were at...sorry mate.

not this one, no.

You run the risk of permanent damage to your knee if you start playing rugby without a lengthy time (6 to 9 months) away from the sport. It is important that you seek medical advice first from your local G.P. doctor and also a Sports physio to get your knee to fully heal through rehab before playing rugby or any sport, again.

If you get a good beach you should be able to just play safe

if you ever want to walk again do not play. most athletes even WITH surgery dont play for 6-9 months with rehab
