I'm 5"10 and I play as a right winger for the school on a weekly basis (training every week and maybe a match every 3 weeks or so). I've got Adidas RS7 TRX SG II rugby boots and I wear Kalenji Deefuz tight shorts (I know they're running shorts btw) beneath my rugby shorts. Can anyone give me advice on what boots I should wear, what under armour/skin tight tops/pads I should wear (bear in mind I am a winger), what the best gum shield is to have and any other items I should have. underarmour branded under shirt (long sleve is best for cold, short for warm) and adidas undershorts are best i find

shoulder pads can be useful

well i play rugby and you need a gum shield no matter what it is the rules you can use skins to keep you warm and some times you can wear padding if you are a forward you can where a scrum cap if you want to look some of this up look at this website rugby gear is really cheap
