What would rugby lose if the ball was round?

The uncertain bounce and the ease of handling/passing.

It would be harder to hold, throw and catch meaning that a lot of the time it would be on the ground and also it would be way to similar to football cause everyone would just kick it

It would be called football ?!

Not a lot, to be honest. Possibly the longer passes would suffer, but I suspect players would adapt. Long kicks at goal would probably be a lot less likely - maybe that's a good thing though? It would probably gain more kicking along the ground (as in soccer style dribbling), as the unpredictablity of the ball's bounce would be removed, making it a legitimate tactic.
