The squad was picked before the NSW game. He had his best game this year in that Lions game. I feel fullback is where he should be but Folau has that spot cemented. Deans has picked Horne and McCabe as his 12s not a posiition Mitchell plays. I do agree with you. I would have liked to see Cooper at 10, O'Connor at 12. But no Cooper so what I imagine the backline to be Barnes 10 and McCabe 12 and it won't matter who plays in the other backline positions.

Hes sort of a forgotten player in Aussie rugby Drew Mitchell. Yes, he was good against the Lions and he is strong at breaking tackles -- maybe he left his good form to late to impress Deans.
