Gym expert advice pls thk u? How to workout in gym to lose excess fat without putting too much muscle mass. At the moment my routine in the gym is, Upper body arm workout while on stationary bike till 100 calorie burn, Stretches, Then i work on weight machine target my 5mins inner 5mins outer thights and glutes, Stretches, Then weight machine on my upper back for 5mins. Stretches, Then stationary bike burn another 120 calorie with 3 interval sprint for till 5calorie burn. Lastly stretches. Im aiming to have athelete or ballerina tone body not too bulky. I'd suggest: A) using an app such as myfitnesspal which records your calorie intake. It is important to make sure you are eating less calories, as you want to have a calorie deficit in order to burn fat B) you will put on muscle mass, but that depends on the supplements/diet/training you have. Do high intensity cardio such as sprinting - female sprinters such as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price have great physiques C) if you work out 6 days a week, maybe have a 4-2 split which means 4 days of cardio and 2 days of weight training or 3-3 = 3 days of cardio, 3 of weights. If you have a calorie deficit, eat the right foods, and have a smart gym routine you shall achieve your goals. Good luck
