I have recently taken up the sport of rugby and the time has come to decide on one position. What is best?

I am very tall (6'4") Decently big, very quick, can catch and throw well, decent at kicking, and play good defence.

I would say you would be a perfect lock(second row) because you are tall and can catch well (good for lineouts) . If you were going to play a back position, i'm not sure how fast you are, perhaps wing or inside centre. For a start try to be lock. Your coach will decide what's best for you anyways but if he asks you a position, try lock.

Second Row, or 10-15 positions

Not hooker or halfback, you are too tall! I would also suggest lock, due to your height. However, if you prefer running, and would like to be a back, remember that Jonah Lomu played on the wing, and he was 6'5". But it will depend on what your coach thinks, and where you will fit into the team.

id say that your either a flanker ir centre maybe even flyhalf

As already stated it depends on your team but if your mobile and a good defensive tackler try flanker.

Fullback, wing, centre, hooker, fly half, any where really in the backs?

depends on the size of your other teamates, you dont really get to choose usually your coaches do, if your tall and decently built you would be a second row (forward) or if your fast a flank (also a forward) but you could be a back, and i really dont know much about backs, because in my opinion there useless and they do an eigth of the work a forward does
