Is there any difference between the: Props Center Second Row

Your props are the guys you look towards to take the team forward. They operate down the middle of the field and are responsible for making metres, in turn giving the team field position to attack with. They are generally the larger players on the field meaning that they are interchanged frequently. Second-row is my position, but there is no real set role of what the need to offer. The common trend is to use one down the left side, one down the right. Defensively they have a responsibility of keeping the edges solid and working hard. Attacking wise, it all depends on the size of a player. The top players in that position are generally big and athletic guys who can burst through a gap created by a half-back. Your two centres need to provide that threat out wide. Again, one on the left, one on the right. You need footwork, pace, and creativity. The centre should be one of the most creative players in the team; he should be able to beat a man and set tries up, as well as scoring them himself. Obviously he will be up against centres with similar attributes, so defensively he needs to be capable of nullifying that threat.
