Is this the last year for Richie McCaw with the All Blacks?

To be honoest I've only had time to watch a couple matches from the Rugby Championships, and I live in the US so it's kind of hard to keep up with rugby news. Barring a career ending injury Ritchie McCaw will be available for the ABs next year. He is taking 6 months off rugby in 2013 which means no super rugby for him. I dont think his sabbatical cuts into the rugby championships (Nz, Aust, SA, and Arg tournament ) If any rugby player deserves a rest and a break it has to be him. The punishment he has done to his body would have ended other players careers long ago. Truly a legendary player.

Its debateable, he is a very fine player and still has some years to come. He said to Peter Hanson(NZ coach) he still has 5 to 6 years ahead of him. Yes in my opinion he is going to continue playing for NZ in the RWC 2015 but you can see he is getting old as he is getting tired quiker than when he was a spring chicken.

He and Dan Carter are both signed with the NZRU through 2015. Barring any career-ending type injuries, I suspect both intend to stay on through the next World Cup.

Doubt it! The man still seems to have the hunger and fitness, but I don't keep my ears peeled to the happenings in the NZ camp.
