This stuff happens all the time, and if this is classed as obstruction, then you might as well say decoy runners are banned in rugby altogether. Looking at the Wallabies defensive alignment, O'Connors man would've been O'Driscoll anyway, it was the 12's job to mark Cuthbert, but because their 12 was Hooper who plys his trade at as a flanker, he was caught out of position and Cuthbert being an international winger just went through the gap. Definitely a try

No, a fair try. To me there was never enough of an obstruction to even look at it.

Its one of those things. Could have gone either way. Yeah BOD made contact with JOC but I don't know if it would have made a difference and he would have stopped Cuthbert. I don't regard it as a huge injustice and I'm an Aussie. If we'd nailed our kicks we would have won but the last kick was really bad luck for Beale. I felt for him. I don't have any complaints about the Cuthbert try. Ultimately, it was a game we lost rather than the Loins won

It was a call that had it gone against the lions, there would have Been a case to argue that it was s fair call due to the visible contact btwn Connor and bod. Connor was checked just for a split second, which impeded him, but like the previous post mentions, Hooper was unable to read the running lines and the international winger scored... Do you think that if we could have brought in the Aust under 21 inside centre at that stage we could have won the game? Just a hypothetical..
