Quade Cooper has wonderful skills as an offensive force in rugby, and he has outstanding physical capabilities of speed, reflexes, peripheral vision, strength. But he has had a hard time growing up emotionally, and some of his behaviours and decision-making have been counterproductive, including to his development as a rugby union layer. But in the last 6 months, I think we are seeing the resolution of those issues, under the guidance of Ewen McKenzie. He is still a young man, and if his intellectual and emotional development catch up with his physical capabilities and skills, he will be a major force in international rugby for many years yet. One thing that is really important: he has to abandon boxing (and the poor advisers who have pushed him in that direction). Nobody wants to see Quade Cooper years form now shuffling along and slurring his words, a la Muhammed Ali. Won't do any harm to gain control on the alcohol, too. Mark L.
I think he's an arrogant pr!ck, but he is a very good player
He has a very good sense of space and a great offload but he is arrogant
He hasn't done anything to qualify the greatness that some think that he has. Bit of a sore loser too
He produces things the opposition aren't expecting and therefore is invaluable. You can't defend against what you don't expect. Did anyone ever see a good 10 that wasn't arrogant? His kicking style is just soooooo funny. How can anyone actually stand like that? LOL
