Second rowers,are listed as players who in a single season make the most tackles, in attack they usually attach to the props in the first tackle, whilst taking it up most likely during the 2nd and 3rd tackle. During the 'Play-the-ball' the hooker will often combine with the second rowers, since there so powerful and tall, they will be used to barge through I.e Andrew Fifita. or ryan Hoffman or even Luke Lewis. mainly they are more mobile than the props they take the big hit ups around the 1st 2nd 3rd tackle. they need to be ok in defence. when running they should also try to look to offload and be a big surport player for the five eight and halfbak
