No stamina. Can't offload in contact. Can't kick in open play. Can't ruck. Don't know the angles. And who would play front row? None of which they are going to pick up without years of training.
All i know is that they get heaps of money once they become famous ..
A team of no names and no brains. Rugby is a game which requires intelligence. However, there is not a single intelligent player in the NFL.
I don't think would do so well, they would not have the stamina to last the full 80 minutes, and they would probably high tackle all the time. They wouldnt know how to ruck, or where to stand, and also getting used to the no pads bit will be hard for them, because they are not used to that kind of contact
Im sure NFL players would do an OK job playing rugby, whether it be Union or League. Would they do a spectacular job? I dont imagine so.
We did have an American football player out here a few years back playing rugby league. He played with Newtown. He could run but that was about it.
