Very little. A mouthguard and a pair of soccer boots (the one's with the molded plastic studs) will get you started. Everything else (aside from shorts and a T-shirt) is optional.

I'd say 30- 29 other players and a ref.

1. The will power ~(Not being a p**sy and crybaby and being scared of getting Hurt) 2. Determination ,and perseverance (Training wise) 3.Plain/oldish clothes (Gym shorts and shirts) [ You're not going to a fashion show..so thus there is no need to "dress up"] 4.Sock's and boots (Rugby boots...however you can train with trainers aswell..but need rugby/football boots to play matches) 5. Gum Guard (Optional..since you dont really need it,as I dont play with one) 6.Rugby ball (Having your own is always a good thing, since you can practise like kicking/passing on your ace aswell in your spare time 7.General Rugby knowledge (Rules and regulations) You don't need TOP of the range gear in order to be a good rugby player...average cost gear goes a long way.

1. Gym shirt 2. Gym shorts 3. Cleats (soccer work best) 4. Mouth gard You can get all this for 100$

Nothing too expensive. Football boots, a gum shield , shorts, football socks and a scrum hat if your a forward??
