Want nothing but to become a pro rugby player. 17 year old male from north scotland?

been playing for 2 and a half years, recently broken into my local side (one of the best in Scotland) at scrum half. 5ft10inches but only about 10 stone (was stuck at 9.7st for ages!). trying to put on weight by eating more and buying weight gainer products. frustrated by being so small as i can tackle but i often get injured and trucked. i feel that this is a huge part in holding me back. also that maybe i am too late to come into regional trials etc. I lift weights but too little success. any help? pleasebeen playing for 2 and a half years, recently broken into my local side (one of the best in Scotland) at scrum half. I lift weights but too little success. any help? please

being slim isn't all that bad cos you could be lightning quick and have good agility. that being said, if you want to make it at the highest level (it's not too late) then you need to bulk up. eat as much as you can.... i'm talking 4 big meals everyday and when you get stuck at a certain weight, start eating 5 meals a day. also drink loads of milk like 5 pints in 1 go. it is possible to put on the weight but if you're a hard gainer (find it hard to gain muscle or put on weight), it's twice as hard. you just have to stay committed. i'm looking forward to seeing you in scotlands first team in a few years to come
